Authorities made more requests for data on Facebook users in India in the past six months of 2015 than at any period since the firm began releasing numbers in 2013.
Officials made 5,561 requests for data on users’ accounts in India, home to the company’s second-largest user base outside the U.S., up 8.7% from 5,115 in the previous six months, a Facebook report
